ACTIVITY 1

 

Denomination: How to use Procreate

Timing:  30 minutes

Materials and resources: iPad and Procreate

​

In this activity, the teacher will explain to the students what they are going to do throughout the session. Using their iPads and the Procreate app, they will create a logo related to recycling awareness to put on bags. They will also comment that these bags are of ecological origin and are recycled, so they will be helping to raise awareness about recycling; He will also tell them that in the future they will print their logos and they will be put on sale at the school's solidarity market to have funds, as well as in the closing activity of the project.

The first thing it will do is give you basic notions of said program, such as:

  • How to start the program and open a drawing.

  • How to name and save what they are creating.

  • How to send it to the teacher.

  • How to use the basic tools for drawing (types of brushes, erasing, making geometric shapes, coloring by fill, how to make gradients, even using layers for drawing, etc.)

 

The teacher will be able to test the skills of the students quickly since they will then review the performance of this work in the next activity, but s/he can do a short test before starting to clarify doubts in general.

ACTIVITY 2

 

Denomination: Creation of an environmental logo

Timing:  1 hour 30 minutes

Materials and resources: iPad and Procreate

​

Students will design the logos individually on the iPad using the Procreate application, taking into account the theme they are working on. The teacher will supervise what the students are doing, after 1 hour they will deliver the activity.
