WHAT IS GOOGLE FORMS?

Polytechnic University of Madrid talks about it is a tool that allows you to gather information and interpret it quickly, it is simple to use and very flexible. Therefore, the educational world soon saw the opportunity to use it for educational purposes. Due to its structure and functionality, it is extremely suitable to implement it as an evaluation tool or exchange tool with the school community.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

Step 1: Create a new form.

• Go to forms.google.com.

• Click Blank +.

• A new form will open.

Step 2: Edit a form or quiz and format them

• You can add text, images or videos to a form, edit or format them.

• Edit a form

• Create a quiz with Google Forms

• Choose where form responses are saved

Step 3: Send the form to respondents to fill out

• When you have everything ready, send the form to the respondents and collect the responses.

HOW HAVE WE USED IT?

We have created so many forms for everyone who wants to contribute to the improvement of green spaces. It is about accessing it through a code Qr that we have generated where it will take you directly to the form after entering your Google account and later fill in some fields such as email, assessment of the municipality’s action with respect to the campaign, add suggestions to the improvement of green spaces or even add photos/videos of its surroundings in order to tackle the anomaly detected by the citizen as soon as possible.

It has also allowed us to generate events where recipients can confirm their attendance as well as add the number of people who will attend.

We have opted for this tool as the features we have outlined above fit perfectly to our needs as to those of our students, but it also allows you to control various aspects such as the type of response you want participants to generate such as long, short, mandatory or not, add files even rating scales. This allows the teacher to collect a large amount of information quickly and easily accessible to everyone through a simple click.
